Roles and Responsibilities for Business Development Associate:

This is a very exciting and strategic role for a smart and creative person. It is varied and involves a combination of strategic & critical thinking, analysis and engagement with internal and external stakeholders. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our product. Examples include: 

  • Identifying new opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from finding new prospects through to closure 

  • You will work directly with the CEO on developing and evaluating new opportunities 

  • Using cutting edge technology to facilitate the sales process

Job requirements

Core requirements for Business Development Associate:

  • Highly capable, self-motivated, collaborative and personable 

  • Strong academic record 

  • Strong commercial skills gained from a professional background 

  • Conducting market research and identifying potential clients.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.

  • Collating and maintaining client information in the CRM database.

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.

  • Working closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies.

  • In depth understanding of advanced technologies such as machine learning 

  • Experience of using and/or ability to learn to use sophisticated technology 

  • Able to demonstrate integrity, drive and natural curiosity 

  • Effective problem solver
